Description:
"Exploring the Wild: Grade 1-2 students visit Jim Corbett Museum" Today, our juniors were taken on an educational excursion to Jim Corbett Museum at Kaladhungi. This heritage bunglow, once the residence of the renowned conservationist Edward James Corbett, offered a unique blend of history, wildlife and adventure. The visit to Corbett Museum was meaningful and knowledgeable as children learnt the importance of wildlife while surfing the vicinity of the Corbett museum. Children were shown many of his belongings, his personal articles that he used, painting, sketches and manuscripts. Jim Corbett was known to hunt the man-eating tigers of Uttarakhand. The renowned tiger reserve: The Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand is named after him. Children enjoyed and learnt many new things while having fun.
